2025-2026 Musical Arts Concert Series Announced

South Alabama's Department of Music is proud to announce the 2025-2026 Season of the 海角社区Musical Arts Concert Series. Performances in the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center Recital Hall will begin September 2 at 7:30 p.m. with flutist Dr. Andra Bohnet presenting her 海角社区Faculty Flute Recital, assisted by music faculty colleagues pianist Dr. Robert Holm, oboist Dr. Amy Selkirk, and clarinetist Dr. Kip Franklin. We invite you to join us for that opening event and the whole season of over 30 great concerts of faculty recitals and student ensembles.

25-26 Concert Season Passes

Concert Season Passes may be purchased via the department's Musical Arts Society. As a subscriber, you will have the opportunity to buy either an Individual Season Pass or the Family Season Pass, allowing you the freedom to attend nearly all the ticketed concerts listed on our schedule. Season passes are offered to you at discounted rates! Download the Season Pass Form and the 25-26 MAS Season Calendar at southalabama.edu/music/mas. If downloading forms from the internet is not your thing, call us at 251-460-6136, or email mgreenwood@southalabama.edu, and we鈥檒l make arrangements to send you the printed material in regular mail.

Laidlaw Performing Arts Center concerts generally begin at 7:30 p.m. for evening performances and at 3:00 p.m. for scheduled Sunday events. Tickets for admission to all MAS concerts and other ticketed events are normally sold at the door only. Tickets are $8 each for general admission and $5 for 海角社区faculty & staff, 海角社区students, youths under 18 and all senior citizens. (For purchase of single concert tickets, we accept card or cash.) Parking around the Laidlaw building is free. Ticket and accommodation questions may be emailed to kbohnet@southalabama.edu.
